Our associate adult assessor, Preena carries out our adult assessments and assessments with learners over the age of 16 years old.
Preena is a Diagnostic Assessor for individuals with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) namely dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD post-16. These assessments can be carried out both remotely and face-to-face. Prices for post-16 assessments vary, depending on which assessments are required
Preena is a member of PATOSS and holds a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC), all assessments are carried out in line with SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) guidelines and she holds relevant memberships and insurance.
Preena is also a Specialist Study Skills Support Tutor. She has spent the last five years working in higher education, and currently works at a university. Prior to that, she worked in further education colleges for 15 years as a literacy and numeracy tutor, a learning advisor, team leader for learning support in sixth form, a dyslexia tutor and Exam Access Arrangements (EAAs) assessor.
Preena prides herself on being an approachable, dedicated and enthusiastic tutor/assessor, with extensive knowledge and experience of working with SEN students with autism, dyspraxia, dyslexia and ADHD and her approach is adapted to individual learners. Her ethos is to provide enjoyment of education by making it accessible and by providing additional opportunities in lifelong learning.
